I love what I do in so many ways. One of them is that I get to look at beautiful fabrics day and night. I love the way they look, feel, and the way they inspire visions of flowers and table settings and delicate details and, of course, invitations! Whole events begin floating through my head, and that makes me happy.

Today’s fabric is an amazing printed cotton by Etsuko Furuya imported from Japan. Featuring floral garlands and woodland creatures, it’s unbelievably sweet and whimsical yet the heavyweight cotton gives it a formality that’s truly elegant.
