I introduced this fabric months ago in my first ever Fabric Inspiration post:

I still love it as much now as I did then. Actually, I think I love it even more now that it’s inspired me to create a whole new wedding invitation suite!

I really wanted to use the idea of the floral wreath from the fabric to highlight the bride and groom’s names throughout the paper pieces. It sounds silly to say, but I think I love the wreath because it feels like a little graphic hug.

I also love that there’s something sweetly romantic about this suite, making it the perfect invitation for a rustic wine country wedding (especially in the purple!) or a whimsical garden wedding.

When one of my favorite brides contacted me about her baby announcements, I was just thrilled! Not only was I so happy for her, I knew that I was in for a real treat. After all, she had such an amazing vision for her wedding (you can take a look here) that I knew we would have so much fun with her baby announcements!

After hearing more, I knew I was right to be excited. The baby’s room is decorated in a Paddington Bear theme, so we decided to make her baby announcements out of…yup, you guessed it…a Paddington Bear fabric! Here are the swatches I showed her…

We had a hard time picking a favorite, but I’m loving her final choice and can’t wait to start designing!

Our last succulent wedding invitation fabric is a great geometric pattern that brings in beautiful earth tones in a playful, modern way!

This next succulent wedding invitation fabric has a wonderfully soft butter and sage color palette that’s perfect for a effortlessly romantic event.

Right now, I’m thinking a lot about fall weddings, and I’m loving all the creative uses of succulents in centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres these days. What a beautiful, smart, and eco-friendly choice for fall when fresh blooms may be a little more difficult to come by! So for the next few fabric inspirations, I’ve pulled some great fabrics that I think would pair perfectly with a succulent wedding.

This first fabric features large, abstract florals that remind me of those round cabbage-y looking succulents (like the ones in the upper left of the collage, and I sure wish I knew what they were called!). The slate blues and sage greens mirror the range of succulent hues, which incidentally are just perfect with bright yellow accents!
